Caring for Your Stainless Steel Sink
- After every use, rinse thoroughly, then wipe the sink dry with a clean soft cloth.
- Clean the sink once a week, being sure to rub in the direction of the satin finish lines.
- Do not leave soaps and other cleaners in your sink to day. Do not use solutions of bleach either. All of these contain chemicals that may damage your sink if left on the surface.
- Do not use s steel wool pad on your sink. If aggressive cleaning is needed, use a Scoth-Brite pad to rub in the direction of the satin finish lines.
- If you use a rubber mat or basin protector while washing dishes, remember to remove them after each use. Bacteria can grow under these protectors if allowed to remain in the basin.
- Do not leave bars of soap, wet sponges or cleaning pads on the faucet ledge. These items over time will dull and possibly pit the surface of the finish.
- Do not leave fruits or juices on the sink; wipe them up immediately as they contain citric acids which over time can etch the surface.
